The DE TIAMO story has humble beginnings as a community project on a farm estate in KwaZulu Natal Midlands in South Africa during the Covid lockdowns. Founder Debbie Blake started teaching a team of local ladies to sew face masks, and under her mentorship, they have gone on to become expert seamstresses operating in a global retail market.

Debbie saw opportunity in the fashion industry for an exclusive range of women’s clothing, classically styled and immaculately finished that would enable women to build an easy-to-wear and versatile foundation wardrobe. And thus DETIAMO was born – a range of smart-casual garments in timeless neutrals and seasonal pop colours. Made from 100% pure linen that breathes and drapes well for comfort and elegance, this range has international style with African heart. Inside each DE TIAMO garment you will find a swing-tag proudly bearing the name of the seamstress who constructed it.
